Ooh, and also, I MOVED HOUSE! And the new flat is LOVELY! And the move was NOT A TOTAL DISASTER! And I only sustained THREE INJURIES! (These were: borked right knee, bruised left knee, cut to chin caused by attempting to pick up knitting bag with face.)

Now begins the process of getting my life back to normal, and catching up on all the stuff that's gone on hold in the last couple of months. (One of those things is to get my dissertation proposal written and submitted, and it's hit me that I've completely forgotten how to do the type of research I was hoping to do, so those plans might be on hold a while longer.)

On a mostly unrelated* note, I am the world's biggest dork; last night I dreamed I wore an invisibility cloak in order to secretly sit in on a Torchwood staff meeting. (Do Torchwood even have staff meetings, or is it all orgies and swearing there?)
